September 24, 2020 Update

Dear Family and Friends:

Hello, this is David. First and foremost, I want to thank each and everyone of you. The outpouring of support has been amazing. Thank you for the emails, texts, well wishes, comments, visits, and phone calls. I cherish each of them, and it fuels and energizes me.

September 7, 2020 Update

It’s the start to another big week: David begins round #4 of chemo (or as he affectionately calls it, “hitting the juice bar”) September 8th. He’ll continue treatment throughout the week and has a few important scans the following week. Rosh Hashana also begins next week and we are all praying David has a sweet and healthy Jewish new year.

August 15, 2020 Update

Quick update: a few weeks ago David’s chemo schedule was pushed back due to scheduling issues/COVID-19, but David was able to charm his way with the staff and is now starting round #3 on Tuesday. And how exactly did David charm his way onto the schedule a week early? He bought the nurses lunch and a case of beer. Lesson learned: it’s all about lunch and beer. Keep fighting hard, David!
