This past weekend David was admitted to the hospital at NIH. He completed his first two treatments as part of the clinic trial with minimal complications. However, after the third treatment he began to experience severe side effects coupled with decreasing sodium levels (similar to what happened in December). David is still in the hospital and remains in good spirits.
Last week David received the results from his brain MRI earlier this month which indicated the brain radiation is working. This news is promising and encouraging.
David and Jen appreciate all the continued well wishes. It means so much hearing from friends and family near and far. It is an exhausting time for both of them right now and as much as they’d like to be able to reply to everyone, the truth is they simply can’t. Please know they have received all the messages and will respond when they are able to.
